2006 - Festival Goes Ahead!

The last word was the the 2006 summer festival wouldn't be going ahead. This was due to the fact that the expenses were so extreme last year, and it was becoming more unlikely that we could raise that amount through sponsorship again, in order to meet the success of last years festival.

However, due to the generous sponsorship of Hampstead Homes (the property development firm), it is with great pleasure that we get to put an end to these rumours and CONFIRM the Brightlingsea Free Music Festival for the Summer of 2006. This year's mainstage event will be held on Saturday 5th August - kicking off at 12.30 pm and finishing at about 9.30 pm..
