Brightlingsea music lovers are celebrating John Peel Day with an evening GIG on Friday 12th October at the local Community Centre. In the spirit of John’s support of new bands, the evening will feature a variety of local talent; DAMN, Spiral Circuit, Last 1 Standing and special guest.

“Last year’s gig was a great evening and a total success’ commented local producer, Chris West. ‘Not only for the bands but lots of budding event organisers helped me set it up and we are looking to involve more people at this year”.

Chris, a local recording engineer/ producer, has been holding music workshops at the 4 Youth Centre for local musicians and all proceeds from the John Peel Day event will go to the 4 Youth club.

Tickets on the door.
£1 for children (11 to 16) - £3 for adults.
